Superintendent finalists selected

Endicott, Koslofsky among finalists

Posted: March 27, 2013 - 9:04am

Four finalists were named in the Pequot Lakes School District’s search for a new superintendent.

In no particular order, Dave Endicott, Brian Koslofsky, Kevin Wellen and
Chris Lindholm will be interviewed April 8, board chair Valarie Wallin said Tuesday.

Endicott is the current principal of Eagle View Elementary School. Koslofsky is a former dean of students at Pequot Lakes Schools and current superintendent of Bertha-Hewitt Schools.

Lindholm is the assistant superintendent at Burnsville-Eagan-Savage school district, and Wellen is listed as superintendent of New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Schools on the district website. As of Tuesday, Wallin hadn’t yet received confirmation from all four finalists to interview April 8, but she noted that the decision had only just been made.

In addition to the four finalists, the board also interviewed Dan Parent,
Ronald Saari, Rick Bleichner and Todd Lyscio.

The final interviews April 8 will begin at 5 p.m., with a meet-and-greet
time period for the public before the meeting. The interviews are also
public.

Wallin said the board may make its decision April 8, but it could also
choose to wait. She said the board had a good pool of candidates, which made it difficult to choose finalists.

The superintendent position opened when current superintendent Rick Linnell submitted his resignation effective in June.
