Crow Wing County and the City of Crosslake are affording a public open house to discuss preliminary design features of the proposed improvement of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 36 from CSAH 37 in Crosslake to County Road 114 in Fairfield Township.
The proposed improvement is to reconstruct 4.7 miles of roadway. Construction starting in 2015 is to be considered. Construction of the road will involve grading, horizontal alignment corrections, vertical profile corrections, bituminous paving, drainage improvements, storm water storage ponds and expansion of the existing right-of-way.
Maps and other pertinent information relating to this project will be available for public inspection at a public open house from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at Crosslake City Hall. Public comment will be available.
A quorum of the city council may be in attendance at this meeting; however, no city business will be conducted.
