David Leek and Jarod Birr, local Special Olympians, take the plunge Saturday, March 2, into Pelican Lake at Breezy Point Resort as part of the eighth annual Polar Bear Plunge. The event attracted 420 plungers who raised $85,000 for Special Olympics Minnesota.
