The Pequot Lakes High School One Acts team fell just short of moving on to the next competition after taking third at subsections Saturday, Jan. 26.
PLHS took third among six teams that competed in Wadena. First- and second-place teams move on to sectionals.
Director Gary Hirsch said there were a few hang-ups near the end of the team’s performance of the one-act play “Any Suspicious Activity” that may have held participants back from moving on. A couple lines were dropped, and there were lighting issues.
“But,” Hirsch said, “we had a good run.
“We definitely were in the upper echelon of the programs that were there. It was a pretty clear difference between the top three and the bottom three teams.”
