Crosslake planner-zoning coordinator Edith Asell has submitted her resignation, according to interim clerk/administrator Jenny Max, and the Crosslake City Council will meet to discuss the vacant position.
The council will meet at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, to discuss the option of advertising for the vacancy, and to discuss appointment of a city attorney and to continue discussion of 2013 council goals.
Whether or not to fill the planner-zoning coordinator position was debated for months after Asell’s predecessor, Lane Braaten, resigned in April 2012.
