State Sen. Carrie Ruud, R-Breezy Point, has been appointed to the following committees for the 2013 legislative session.
• Education Policy Committee.
• Jobs, Agriculture and Rural Development Policy Committee.
• Environment, Economic Development and Agriculture Finance Division.
“I look forward to serving the residents of District 10 on these three very important committees,” Ruud said in a statement. “Education, jobs, agriculture, rural development and environment are all very significant issues for my constituents. I feel I’m well positioned to represent their views in the Minnesota state Senate.”
