Lakewood Health System in Staples was honored by UCare Minnesota at its fourth annual Salute to Excellence event in November in Minneapolis.
The event recognizes outstanding performances by Minnesota clinics and care systems that participated in UCare’s 2011 Pay for Performance Program.
The Pay for Performance Program results from 2011 were analyzed in 2012, and payments were made in November 2012. These payments recognized and rewarded providers for superior or improved performance in measurable key areas of preventative care.
Lakewood Health System was given this award in recognition of its quality of senior care, including Medicare-reimbursed care.
