A 39-year-old Level 3 predatory offender who moved into a residence in Lake Edward Township in October recently was booked in the Crow Wing County Jail for a parole violation.
It was reported that the Minnesota Department of Corrections (DOC) placed Christopher Eugene Wheeler on a parole violation because he couldn’t find a place to live. Wheeler was to be in held in custody upon review of his living situation.
In October, Wheeler moved to the 25000 block of Mud Lake Road in rural Nisswa. The house belonged to his grandmother but was for sale.
Wheeler will be under DOC supervision until Dec. 8, 2021.
