Two people were arrested at 1:44 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, in Woodrow Township in Cass County in connection with several burglaries in Cass County, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Cass County sheriff’s deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle in the roadway, according to a news release. Upon arrival, deputies located a vehicle in the ditch and, after investigation, two suspects were taken into custody for a nearby burglary.
It was later determined that the suspects may have been involved in several other burglaries in the area.
Sheriff Tom Burch said the two suspects remained in custody at the Cass County Jail pending formal charges.
