Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reports that on Saturday, Dec. 29, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Lake Shore, and approximately 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia were found.
A female was taken into custody in conjunction with the search warrant.
On Monday, Dec. 31, Jodie Kae Johnson, 53, Lake Shore, was arraigned in Cass County Court and charged with felony first-degree possession of drugs. Johnson’s conditions of release include post $20,000 bond; remain law abiding; have no alcohol/controlled substance use; submit to random testing; and make all future court appearances.
The investigation is being conducted by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Shore Police Department, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Police Department and the Crow Wing County Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division.
