The Pequot Lakes Woman’s Club surprised Dee Dobias on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Antlers, where she was attending a birthday luncheon with the Aqua Chicks.
She was honored for being a past president of the Pequot Lakes Woman’s Club, leading the group singing Christmas carols at its annual event in December at the Sibley Terrace Apartments, and for all the years she picked out, bought and helped plant flowers in the barrels along the Pequot Lakes walking trail and park, making certain the flowers were watered.
Soon Dobias will start a new life moving to Wisconsin. The club will miss her and appreciates all her involvement in the club.
