Oreo Fudge Sundae
32-ounce package of Oreo cookies
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 gallon chocolate or vanilla ice cream
1 jar hot fudge
Spray a 13- by 9-inch pan with non-stick cooking spray or line with parchment paper. In a medium sized bowl, crush cookies and mix with melted butter. Place in the bottom of the prepared pan. Make sure to reserve a few of the crumbs for topping.
Allow ice cream to soften. Then spread ice cream on top of the cookie crumbs. Place in freezer and allow to harden, 2-3 hours.
Remove the ice cream/cookies from the freezer and allow to warm up just slightly so it can be cut into pieces. Cut into serving size pieces and place on individual serving plates. Warm the hot fudge in a microwave for a few seconds
Top each serving with hot fudge, whipped cream and some of the reserved cookie crumbs.
