The Brainerd Family YMCA offers an American Health and Safety Institute CPR for the community and the workplace and an American Safety and Health Institute Basic First Aid class.

The CPR class will meet from 6:15-9:15 p.m. Monday, May 6. 

The Basic First Aid course will be offered from 6:15-9:15 p.m. Thursday, April 25.

Both classes will be held at the YMCA. Participants will receive certifications upon completion.

A benefit for Jackson Fredrick Coverdale-Ukura will be held from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at T.J.’s Log Cabin at 320 S. Seventh St. in Brainerd.

The event will feature food, silent auction and live music by King’s Ransom, The BeeTKeepers and more. Suggested donation is $10 per adult and $6 per child.

April 25, 26, 29-May 2: Open to students in 5th-12th grade from 3-6 p.m. Enjoy our gym, computer lab, Play Station 3, Xbox, Wii, board games, air hockey, foosball, carpet ball, food and more, all at no cost.

April 25: Cass County Public Health Senior Foot Care Clinic from Noon to 2 p.m.

April 27: Closed to students.

April 28: 3 p.m. Moments and Memories by Bev Lawyer a fund raiser for First Lutheran Church and the Life Center.
