Kinship Partners honors the Greg and Lori Reisdorf family, Nisswa, and Chloe Hensley as its Match of the Month.

Five years ago Chloe was a shy and quiet little girl and the Reisdorfs have witnessed the transformation to a happy, talkative and, most important, a more confident fifth-grader.

Lori said their children, Landon and Sara, treat Chloe like one of the family. Favorite activities include camping, bowling, crafts and family trips to places like Duluth.

Chloe appreciates her Kinship family because she said they have given her opportunities that she wouldn’t have with her own family.

Chloe’s mom echoes the enthusiasm and said, “They adore each other. It just fits. This has been a great chance for Chloe to experience another lifestyle and have fun.”

The Reisdorfs agree that having a Kinship Partner has been a rewarding experience for their family. Chloe is having fun while learning about what makes healthy families tick. As she grows and matures, she will recall lessons learned from this caring family.
