The Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota (MPM) recently honored Kinship Partners with the Bob Dayton Quality Mentoring Award for Leadership.
This award is given to a program that shows a sustained commitment to quality improvement, focuses on elevating the broader mentoring community, and exemplifies a servant leadership approach to the mentoring field.
“We believe our community’s future rests on the hopes and dreams of our children and youth and that every child deserves a responsible and concerned adult who will provide guidance and support, help set and accomplish goals, and act as a positive role model,” said David Downing, Kinship Partners executive director. “Our staff and board work hard to lead by example, and we are honored to be recognized by the Mentoring Partnership and our peers across the state.”
Kinship Partners is a youth mentoring organization serving families within the Crow Wing, southern Cass and Staples/Motley areas by providing positive role models for youth.
