Heart & Soul IV, an evening of insightful information on women’s heart health, will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Crosslake Lutheran Church, 35960 County Road 66 in Crosslake.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
In its fourth year, this evening dedicated to women will focus on “The Broken Heart,” the effects of loss and grief on one’s mind, body and soul.
Speakers include Dr. James Furda, internist with Minneapolis Heart Institute on the failing heart; Gail Smith, registered nurse at Minneapolis Heart Institute and Crosslake Lutheran Church parish nurse on the mind, body and spirit effects of loss; and Ginny Hersey, who will share a personal story on broken heart syndrome.
Come early to have your blood pressure taken.
