The Brainerd Family YMCA will be offering an American Health and Safety Institute CPR for the community and the work place.
Participants will learn to recognize and respond to the signals of heart attack, cardiac arrest and stroke as well as other medical emergencies for adults, children and infants including obstructed airway (choking), allergic reactions and drowning.
Participants will earn a two-year certification card. This class is taught by Dianna Jenkins, a certified instructor with the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI).
Class will meet Monday, March 18, from 6:15-9:15 p.m. at the YMCA. Cost is $47 for YMCA Members and $52 for Community Members.
