• Hidden Jewels Thrift Store: The first brown bag sale of 2013 is next week. Come in and fill up a bag of gently used clothing for $5 for yourself, your grandchildren, your family, neighbors and friends. This sale will run Wednesday and Thursday, March 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteers and donations are welcome. • Pine River Area Food Shelf: Come to the “Soups & Sweets” fundraiser Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Warehouse. Suggested donations are $7 for adults, $4 for kids 12 and younger and $21 for families. All proceeds go to support the Pine River Area Food Shelf.
• The Family Centers Home Visiting Program has immediate openings for first-time expectant parents who would like some help with understanding pregnancy and supporting your child’s development. Home visits are free, confidential and last through your child’s 3rd birthday.
• MAC/NAPS pick up is March 12 from 2-4 p.m.
