First Lutheran Church in Pine River celebrated Souper Bowl Sunday with a special project for the Pine River Area Food Shelf. The confirmation students built a goal post with 127 cans of soup. The soup and a $25 donation were presented to food shelf volunteer Mrs. Kline by: front, Chris Krecklau, Autumn Janovec, Nick Janovec and Avery Cunningham; back, Nathan Brasel, Tanner Aleckson, Shelby Adkins, Amy Wiese, Emma Mills and Brianna Blanchard.
