Hidden Jewels Thrift Store is open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The store needs volunteers who would like to donate some of their time to help in the nonprofit thrift store.
Pine River Area Food Shelf: March is Minnesota Food Share Month. Look for upcoming events that the community can get involved in to help raise money for the food shelf.
The Family Center’s Home Visiting Program has immediate openings for first-time expectant parents who would like some help with understanding pregnancy and supporting their child’s development. Home visits are free, confidential and last through your child’s third birthday.
Free tax help will be offered again from February until mid-April. Appointments will only be on Saturdays, so call to make an appointment.
Family Planning is scheduled for Feb. 5. Appointments can be made by calling 877-275-6123.
