The Crosslake Area Garden Club rescheduled its plant sale from May 25 to Saturday, June 8, because of the weather. The club wants to continue to provide the public with wonderful plants.

The plant sale will be at the Crosslake Community Center shelter from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Pine River senior citizens meet every Tuesday for games at the Legion for 500 and at Heartland Apartments for dominoes at 1 p.m. Blood pressures are taken the second Tuesday at the Legion. New players are always welcome

Memories of “Sugar Shack,” “Surf City” and “He’s So Fine,” of the Marlow and the Armory, and of Dam Diving Tower and the class play “Our Town” will likely filter into the conversations during the 50th class reunion of the Pine River High School Class of 1963 to be held Aug. 8-11 in Pine River.

May 23, 24, 28-30: Open to students in 5th-12th grade from 3-6 p.m. Enjoy our gym, computer lab, Play Station 3, Xbox, Wii, board games, air hockey, foosball, carpet ball, food and more, all at no cost.

May 25, 27: Closed to students.

May 29: End of School Party for students in 4th-12th grade, no cost and free refreshments will be served. Enjoy a variety of games with prizes, hair beading and feathering, face painting, fun and more!
