In efforts to increase accessibility to flu shots in Cass County, Cass County Public Health announces flu vaccine is now available for children and adults who are uninsured and underinsured.
Uninsured refers to those who do not have any health insurance coverage and underinsured refers to those who have health insurance that does not cover vaccination or subject to deductibles.
The recommended contribution fee for administration of shots is $5 per shot, if able to afford.
For those who are fully insured with vaccine coverage, flu shots are offered and billed to your insurance. Bring insurance cards to the flu shot clinic.
Community flu clinics with all ages welcome are from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Cass County Health, Human and Veterans Services located at 400 Michigan Ave. in Walker; and from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Cass County Government Office located at 218 Washburn Ave. E. in Backus.
