Pregnant women, women thinking about getting pregnant, spouses, partners, friends, family and other supportive community members are invited to take a ‘Pregnant Pause’ from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 in the lower level classrooms at Lakewood Health System’s Main Campus.
Pregnant Pause is an event that brings awareness to Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). It is sponsored by Lakewood Health System, Staples Rotary and MOFAS.
The event is free and participants will enjoy samples of non-alcoholic beverages, and food will be served. Participants will also have the opportunity to make unique crafts and enjoy other fun activities. Registered attendees will receive free baby gifts, a diaper bag filled with necessities and be entered for a chance to win other great door prizes.
