This sawmill was located on the north end of Sibley Lake where the current public access is today. This photo of mill workers was taken in 1916. The lumber came into Lake Sibley from the surrounding hills. There were so many logs that it was said that fishermen just walked the logs out into the water, pushed the logs apart and dropped their lures. Can you name the sawmill? Answer is on page 11.
