Tickets will be available at the door. Price is $9 for adults and free for children ages 12 and younger.
The dinner will be served at your table and will begin with a romaine salad with cranberries and nuts, followed by slow roasted pork loin, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, apple rings and, finally, dessert from the Ladies of the Church Special Dessert Buffet.
The members and friends of the church prepare the dinner each year.
The Pine River Methodist Church is one of the oldest structures in Pine River. It is listed on the Pine River Walking Tour of Historic Buildings. Updates have recently been made, including a new efficient heating system as well as added air conditioning. The original leaded stained glass windows have been retained as well as the wooden pews. The original bell is rung every Sunday morning just before the worship service.
The church is three blocks east of the Highway 371 stoplight on Barclay Avenue in Pine River.
