The 19th annual Arts & Crafts Fair and Taste of Pequot took place on a cool Saturday, Sept. 14, at Trailside Park in Pequot Lakes, featuring a fall festival flair.

Rain held off until later in the afternoon for the event that featured handmade crafts from more than 50 arts and crafts vendors along the Paul Bunyan Trail and food from area restaurants. Participating local food establishments included Pequot Lakes Supervalu, Hungry Loon Cafe, Palmer’s Grille at Deacon’s Lodge, Pine Peaks and Giovanni’s.

The event offered a petting zoo with alpacas from Foothills Alpaca Farm, as well as miniature horses, a goat and turkeys owned by Brad and Brenda Myers of Pequot Lakes; a hay bale maze; face painting; bungee trampoline; and a pumpkin hunt for pumpkins painted like bobbers.
