Visitors to the Crosslake Historic Log Village on Sunday, Aug. 11, took a giant step into the past to see local artisans dressed in period costume demonstrating crafts reminiscent of 1900 at the annual Crosslake Artisan’s Fair.

The event featured music, food, children’s activities and demonstrations and sales of turn-of-the-century crafts by more than 35 artisans. Visitors also were able to tour the historic buildings at the Log Village.

The annual event is sponsored by the Crosslake Area Historical Society.
