Crosslake in Bloom, held Thursday, July 18, featured a tour of some of Crosslake’s best gardens.

The event began with a luncheon and vendor booths at Pine Peaks Event Center, also one of the featured gardens.

The speaker at the event was JoAnn Weaver, Crow Wing County Master Gardener, who spoke on “the art of the kitchen garden.”

After the luncheon, a self-guided tour led participants to six area gardens.

Gardens on the tour included lakeside homes, the Crosslake Community Garden, perennial gardens and gardens with water features and other landscaping artwork.
