The 11th annual Ice Tee Open at Moonlite Bay in Crosslake raised $21,000 to support Camp Knutson.

Golfers came by land and frozen lake to participate in golf on the ice, on a course artistically designed by Lucian Greeninger of Golden Eagle Golf Club in Fifty Lakes. A record high 207 golfers participated.

In the tournament, Dan Erickson won the hole-in-one contest, the prize for which was half of $640; the other half was donated to Camp Knutson. Brady Peterson won a $50 Moonlite Bay gift certificate for the lowest individual score with 56.

This year 23 individuals or groups participated in the $500 Club; these people gave $500 to the mission of Lutheran Social Services Camp Knutson, which provides camping services to children with special needs.

Campers include children with severe skin disorders, autism, Down syndrome and heart disease, and families affected by HIV and AIDS.

The annual Ice Tee Open is sponsored by Moonlite Bay and Golden Eagle Golf Club.
