Antique and vintage snowmobiles showed up in droves to the 20th annual Antique Snowmobile Rendezvous in Pequot Lakes on Saturday, Jan. 18.

The event featured plenty of competition.

This year’s drag race was won by Ted Otto of Brainerd on a 1962 Arctic Cat Polar 450 followed by Joe Sailer of Gilbert on a 1964 Arctic Cat 170 and John McGuirk of Sidney, Ohio, on a 1966 Arctic Cat 460 D.

Darrin Willis of Hopeville, Ill., took home first place in the oval race with his 1964 Arctic Cat 170 D followed by Harvey Denzin of Buffalo on a 1964 Polaris K 80 D and Robert Larson of Roseau on a 1963 Polaris K 95 D.

The reverse oval also went to Otto, followed by Tony Rolfes of Sartell on a 1964 Polaris KE 95 D, and Denzin took third.

Aaron Kelly of Tipton, Iowa, won the obstacle course on a 1966 Arctic Cat 100 with Richard DeCoursey of Isle in second and Aaron Fischer of River Falls, Wis., on his 1965 Polaris Super Pacer in third.
