Labor Day weekend brought the sixth annual Arts Off 84 Art Crawl back to the Pine River area.
There were 62 artists featured at the art walk this year, with arts ranging from knitted rugs, herbal soaps and handmade dolls, to paintings and homemade jellies. There were familiar businesses at the event such as Brambleberry Farms and All Things Herbal, as well as many others.
Arts Off 84 stretched along Highway 84 out of Pine River starting at The Warehouse and ending near Longville. This trek was roughly 25 miles long. The event, which took place Aug. 31 and Aug. 1, was threatened by violent storms Saturday afternoon. Listening to severe weather warnings on the radio and watching dark clouds to the north, some artists set up outdoors were forced to close up shop a few minutes early.
