The Ideal Beef Feed celebrated its 33rd year Wednesday, Aug. 14.
The event, always held the second Wednesday in August, brought a variety of people from across the country to feed on beef, all-you-can-eat corn, watermelon, buns and cole slaw.
The event, held at Ideal Township Hall, annually serves approximately than 2,100 diners. More than 2,400 pounds of beef, 560 dozen ears of corn and 120 watermelons were served this year.
Money from the event goes toward equipment for the Ideal Township Volunteer Fire Department.
This year, those who attended included Santa Claus, and people from 7 months old to 92 years old.
